Greetings. I am Professor Saxon. I can only assume that whoever has deposited me in this hellhole... quaint little place is paying attention. It would no doubt please you to know that you have me at an extreme disadvantage- that is to say, you've got all the answers while I'm riddling out scraps of poetry and saddled with a sadistically primitive bit of communications technology. I gather that you are also responsible for the headache.

[softly menacing] You are making a mistake.

[aaaaand back to congenial] Rest assured, however, that this is nothing that can't be rectified by a little pooling of knowledge. I would like to know why and how I came to be here. I gather from the lack of intelligent life environmental conditions that you, in turn, could use a certain amount of qualified assistance. It is therefore of the utmost importance that we speak. I am sure that we can come to an equitable and mutually favorable agreement.

Professor Saxon, it'll save you a lotta further headaches if you just forget about who brought you here. Whether they're listening or not, they don't like being reminded they've kidnapped you, and they're not gonna give answers until they feel like it--which has yet t'come around.

Either way, you're in danger. Franzie's already fixed you up with the readin' material--find where you are and get to an X on the map before something with teeth finds you. Be 'specially wary of anything big with something glowing in the middle of it's forehead. You come across one of those, you start yelling for help.

There's more important things to do than piss off the scientists, first and foremost making this place livable and surviving the not-so-nice guys that got dropped in here with us.

Listen, I know you're angry, and y'probably willing to fight for your answers. Now's just not the time. Get your land legs before y'start off to war, if y'start off to war. Personally, I'd rather make sure everyone stays alive than waste lives fighting with the people that could send any of us home any day of the week.

I apologize if my tone came off as a little... brusque. Survival is, of course, of utmost importance. And it seems you've done that admirably. However, if these scientists are reasonable creatures, attempting to reason with them should not be so easily discouraged. And if they are not, then it's unlikely they will ever send us home based on any tactical strategy.

I don't think so~ At least, not in the building I live. I haven't paid rent ever, and I pretty much just moved in~ There's quite a few empty rooms here, too.
